Piano Chord LibraryThe site as it operates today
Piano Chord Library is owned by Rob and hosted on Netlify. It has no accounts or advertising. A contact form is provided below Help. Optional Google Analytics remains off until you explicitly accept. Your accept/reject preference is stored locally so the site can respect it.
Optional analytics choices
Google Analytics uses measurement ID G-HVVR9HP7EC. Google loads only after Accept analytics. Reject leaves it unloaded. Privacy settings lets you reject or withdraw later; withdrawal disables measurement, clears accessible analytics cookies and reloads without Google. The contact page never loads Google. Only page paths without query strings and successful tool/print/download events are eligible; name, email, subject and message fields are never passed to analytics.
Optional analytics is off until you choose.
Contact messages
The contact form asks for a name, reply email, subject and message. When configured, Netlify passes these to Resend for delivery to the owner’s private inbox. Please do not include sensitive information. Form checks, including a signed short-lived token and hosting rate limits, help prevent spam. We do not store submissions in a site database or log message contents. Resend and the recipient’s email service process the message; see Resend’s privacy policy. Exact inbox and provider retention periods are not confirmed. The form reports unavailable or unconfirmed delivery honestly.
Tools, audio and downloads
Selections and synthesized audio run in your browser. Downloaded note files are created locally. Print requests open your browser's print dialog. The site does not receive your print destination, saved file location or a confirmation that a physical print happened. Selections reset when the page reloads.
Hosting requests
Loading a page or asset sends a request to Netlify. Hosting and security systems may process technical information such as an IP address, requested URL, time and browser details. See Netlify's privacy policy for its handling of personal information. We do not state a specific host-log retention period because it has not been confirmed for this deployment.
External links
Reference links take you to other websites with their own privacy practices. This site does not embed those sites, remote fonts, videos or audio players.
Future changes
Display advertising may be considered later. It is not active now. If data collection changes, this policy and any required choices will be updated before those features are enabled. The ICO's storage and access guidance explains the rules that may apply to cookies and similar technologies.
Questions and requests
Use the contact form for a site or privacy question when its delivery service is available. The recipient address remains private. Do not send personal information through unrelated links. UK visitors can consult the ICO's complaint guidance for information about privacy concerns.
